Tiffany Gisel, DVM (Owner)

Dr Tiffany Gisel grew up in North Florida but spent as much time as she could at her grandparent’s farm in Iowa.  She grew up learning first hand animal care for livestock and exotics including draft horses and buffalo.

Her innate drive to learn and travel led her to study veterinary medicine in Grand Cayman at St Matthew’s University. She finished her clinical year at the University of Georgia.  However, her love for the water, sunshine and boating brought her back to Florida. She has experience working in emergency and critical care overseeing internal medicine, surgical, ophthalmology, dermatology, and dentistry patients, alongside specialty medicine veterinarians. She has learned and integrated a high standard of care and the value of preventative medicine.  Dr Gisel enjoys sharing her knowledge with pet owners and continues to thrive with advancements in medicine as well as offering an array of surgical procedures. Her free time is often spent swimming with her black labs, playing volleyball with her husband, dancing or just cuddling with her cat and a movie.

Dr Gisel is an active board member for Pinellas Animal Foundation, current

member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and member of Pinellas County Veterinary Medical Association.

When you are looking for an Animal Hospital you should be able to count on superior care and excellent service. Here at Hope and Love Veterinary Hospital we have assembled an expert team of veterinary professionals to bring you the best possible healthcare for your pet.  We have a state of the art veterinary facility which is clean, comfortable, and efficient.
Once a year you should take your pet in for a check-up, or twice per year with a senior pet or ongoing medical condition.  This will include a full physical exam and tailor the appropriate health care plan. We may suggest a dental cleaning if needed or annual blood work to monitor general health and intervene early for medical conditions.

Dr. Tiffany Gisel will check the health of your pet from head to tail, and you will be invited to be a part of the family. 
Please bring in any medical history you have for your pet.  It's best to keep a journal of your pet's health throughout his or her life, including behavioral shifts.   
As a very evident risk in our tropical environment, we strongly recommend monthly heart worm and flea prevention for your pets.
